Work Experience
Day 1

Today was the first day of the experience of my work experience. I had an interview and orientation and learned a lot more than I expected to. I am now working on a digital portfolio to put my work on one website. I created a template that is displayed above for my home page, to do this I got pages from other portfolios I liked and recreated them on seperate layers using Photoshop until I made what you can see above.
Day 2

Today I made many minor tweaks to the design of my template and it made a major difference. I started by using styles to make everything look more visually appealing and went on to end up with this. After I finished with the design aspects I learned how to use Dreamweaver for my first time. I found it to be much more efficent than HTML, and looking at the code that I did in Dreamweaver that I did in an hour seemed very overwhelming after seeing all the code tha tI had in an hour using raw HTML with Text Edit. I also started to refresh my memory with tables and how they are useful for designing things. I worked on this for a significant part of the day and I ended it off planning on how my content will look like and where it will be.
Day 3
Today involved many minor tasks that will end up making a big difference on my website. I planned the design of my content some more, used some javascript to make my buttons change colour when they are highlighted. I was unable to get a thumbnail today but it wouldn't make much of a diffference because most of what I did was coding. My website is coming along quite well and I hope to have it finished by Friday.
Day 4
there will also be no screen cfap for today because... My website has gone live! It can be found at adamginther.com/. Today I did many small touches that ar emaking the website look a lot better and I also finished the portfolio page. My webstie is coming along quite nicely and I shoulod have it done by tomorrow. All I need to work on is some resolution changes, a slider for the home page, and the contact me page. I am really satisfied the way today turned out, and I can't wait to finally get my website fully complete tomorrow!
Week 2
Day 1
Today I made a rough draft for what will be a commercial for a fake product I have made. I spent the first hour oming up with the name which was Nature's Bounty, a very organic product. Then I created a label, worked on a storyboard, filmed it, and edited it. For the most part today was really successful, the video was 45 seconds long but I found it to be pretty good. I have some more footage to film tomorrow and I look forward to it.
Day 2
Today started off with me working on Final Cut Pro and I started using Motion 5, which ended up being very frusterating to use. It took me a while to finally figure out what I could do with the program, but now I feel that it is quite useful and that it helped make my video significantly better. It let me introduce graphics and effects in my video that otherwise weren't possible in Final Cut Pro.
Day 3
Today finally did the finishing touches for my video which took a lot longer than I expected to be, but it turned out better than I thought it would be and I was able to publish it to Youtube. The rest of my day was spent working on embedding Youtube videos onto a dance website. Tomorrow I get to help film a commercial and I look forward to it.
