Cartoon (2 Versions)
"Ginther The Great"
To make this cartoon I:
- took a photo of my face using Photo Booth
- traced the photo of my head in Photoshop using the brush tool
- opened up the body of Superman in Photoshop and traced it with the brush tool
- attached the body and face together
- coloured in the body parts and face using the paint bucket tool
- got the background of L.A. Matheson andput the background behind my body in Photoshop
- added the text using the text tool in Photoshop
If I were to mark myself for this assignment I would give myself an 11/10, but unfortunately I can't do that. If I were to give myself an honest and fair mark I would give myself a nine out of 10 because as you can see, I put a lot of effort into it. Some of the extra work I did was make two versions of this, one with a background and text and one with a blank background and a full body shot. I also tried to take as much time as I could to make sure all of the lines looked proper and natural. I also changed Superman's colour palette to colours to give myself a more personal and unique look for my superhero.
